Impeach Cheney Co-Sponsors Reach 8

Good news! Number of co-sponsors for Rep. Dennis Kucinich's (D-OH) bill of impeachment (H.R. 333) against Vice President Cheney has increased to eight. Dave Lindorff reports in a June 14 "Cheney Impeachment Watch" post that the bill now has the following co-sponsors:

"Albert Wynn (D-MD), Barbara Lee (D-CA), Lynn Woolsey (D-CA), Yvette Clarke (D-NY), William Lacy Clay (D-MO), Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) and Maxine Waters (D-CA). Congresswomen Lee and Woolsey are co-chairs of the Progressive Caucas, the largest caucas in the Democratic Party. Rep. Schakowsky is the third ranked member of the House Leadership, with the title of Chief Deputy Whip, and is also a member of the Progressive Caucas."
