Opening and Call to Order
Don called the meeting to order.
Reading and Approval of Minutes
No meetings occurred in January or February.
Reading of Applications for Membership
None.
Reports of Delegates and Officers
Indiana Green Party - Tom reported that he has withdrawn for personal reasons from the race for Secretary of State. The IGP is working on a state political platform. Other members of the party are running for Monroe County office and for a State Assembly seat.
Indiana Coalition for Fair Election Laws - ICFEL plans to join the IACLU to sue for better ballot access in the next presidential election.
Committee Reports
Environmental Committee - Don reviewed past activities of the Committee.
Announcements
April 20: Earth Day celebration in Potawatomi Park, 11am-4pm, and a speech by Germany's Counsel General on environmental policy afterwards at IUSB
April 27: Earth Day fair at University of Notre Dame, 12am-5pm
Discussion
We planned to staff tables at each Earth Day event, and decided to order up to $150 of IGP T-shirts.
Don reminded us to donate goods to the church.
We discussed possible electoral activities in lieu of supporting Tom's candidacy for Secretary of State.
