Present: Tom Brown, Don Brubaker, Lance Howard, Kathleen Kaiser, Jeff Sutter and Vickie Webb
1. Opening and Call to Order
2. Reading and Approval of Minutes - Minutes of the August meeting were not available but are posted on the web site.
3. Reading of Applications for Membership – none
4. Reports of Delegates and Officers - none
5. Committee Reports
Fund Raising Committee -- Jeff determined that either Saturday, September 28, or Sunday, September 29, will be the date for the Pesto Feast.
Outreach -- Kathleen passed around an idea for a chapter logo. Vickie, who is a graphic artist, offered to help with the logo and design a flyer for the Pesto Feast fundraiser.
Environmental -- Kathleen talked to a South Bend City engineer about combined sewer overflows. The engineer is willing to speak to the Greens re CSOs.
Environmental -- Don passed around literature re extending I-69 south of Indianapolis. The Indiana Department of Transportation (IDOT) is seeking a public response to the proposed plans. There are several plans. The plans fall into two categories: linking existing highways or building new road. Don will send information to put on the web site.
