The St. Joe Valley Greens are one leaf on one branch of one of the world's fastest-growing "trees." Our tree is the Greens/Green Party movement, now active in more than 70 countries. Like the million leaves of a big, healthy tree, Green chapters and people are part of the vast ecosystem that sustains all life on Earth. And our goal is to create the most healthy environment and human society we can. As Greens, we seek to integrate environmental concerns with human issues like social justice, grassroots democracy, and an end to violence. In pursuit of these goals, we subscribe to the Ten Key Values of the Green Movement, as adopted by the Greens, U.S.A. Here in Michiana, our core of active Greens invites you to join us for social action and socializing. In pursuit of our goals, we get to know each other as friends while building a better quality of life for our community. Just point and click your way through our Web site to find out more about us. Best of all check us out IRL. That's cybertalk for "In Real Life." There's fun to have, challenges to meet, and work to do, for you. |
